Game Description:
H2Grow is a third-person underwater farming sim game. The goal of the game is to pay off the 50,000 pearl debt you owe to a loan shark, Jaw Capone, for your new farm investment. To earn pearls, you must do work on your farm and sell your produce. This includes growing and harvesting seaweed and coral, milking cows for sea salt milk, collecting sea chicken eggs, and jammin’ with some jellyfish to make jelly jam! All of the items or livestock you need for your farm can be purchased at WhaleMart, your local convenience store. To successfully beat the game, you will need to manage your resources wisely as well as tend to your crops and livestock regularly as they can get sick and eventually die!
Project Roles:
H2Grow was my senior project. I worked with two other people on this project, Matt Monk and Brooks Stowe. Jessica Jones and Ben Pang also assisted us.
Me: I UVed and textured all art assets in the game as well as modeled many of the props. I also made all of the GUI art and designed the game’s logo.
Matt Monk: He modeled all the characters and many props as well. He also rigged, skinned, and animated everything in the game.
Brooks Stowe: He programmed the game. He also handled level design, environment modeling, and constructed the game within Unity.
Jessica Jones: She drew concept art for some of the characters for us.
Ben Pang: He composed the music for us.

Game Description:
Promblematic is a third-person dating sim/casual puzzle game. The goal of the game is to get a date for Prom by the end of the week. You play as a character named Joe and can choose among three potential love interests: Charlie Starr – the hipster guy, Emma Cutts – the goth/punk girl, and Melody Treble – the shy band girl. Dialogue options are key to the gameplay as they affect each character’s likeability of you. You must talk to your love interest as well as try to buy them a gift from the school store if you have any hopes of getting a date for prom. Otherwise you’ll be…FOREVER ALONE!
Project Roles:
Promblematic was my final for my Unity class. I worked with two other people on this project, Romel Ramos and Katie Henry.
Me: I ended up acting as team lead since I was the only member who could run Unity on their computer. I was responsible for making all of the UI art/layout, coming up with the game flow, constructing the levels themselves within Unity (setting up the scenes, cameras, etc.), writing some of the scripts, debugging all of the scripts, and modeling/texturing the character Emma Cutts.
Romel Ramos: He acted as art director and came up with the overall aesthetics of the game. He is also responsible for modeling/texturing/animating any custom art assets/characters we used. He also came up with a good majority of the dialogue.
Katie Henry: She acted as our programmer. She designed and wrote the code for almost all the scripts used in the game. She also wrote a lot of the dialogue and modeled/textured the character Melody Treble.
Some of the art assets used in the game were found online, such as in the home ec and gym levels, so we do not take credit for them. Also we do not take credit for any of the music featured in the game.

Game Description:
Catakana is a third-person educational game which uses memorization mechanics to teach Japanese words. The title is a pun for the words “cat” and “katakana”, which is the name of the Japanese writing system primarily used to spell out foreign words that have been adopted into the Japanese language.
The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible within the 3 minute time limit. Before the game starts, you are presented with a list of words written in katakana that you must memorize. The higher level you play, the more words you have to memorize. Once you are ready, click to begin the game. There will be 3 ninja cats sitting inside a sushi restaurant. Rather than sushi dishes coming out of the conveyor belt, dishes with random katakana words will appear instead. You must click on the correct katakana dishes to score points and make the ninja cats happy. Incorrect choices will yield point reductions and bring dishonor to the ninja cats!
Project Roles:
Catakana was entirely made by me, from concept to finish. This was an individual assignment and I was given a little over a week to make the game. My assignment tasks were to make an educational game and to optimize it to be under 10 mb. I successfully accomplished both of these goals.
Some of the art assets were found online, such as the sushi restaurant props in the background. I do not take credit for them. I also do not take credit for any of the music featured in the game.
